As one of ACA’s traditional annual cultural events, Dumpling Night gives members an opportunity to learn about Chinese-American culture while gaining hands-on experience with a key cultural practice all while enjoying delicious dumplings and the company of fellow members and ACA staffers. Members come to Sunset Rec to meet other ACA members through a small activity, learn a brief history of different kinds of dumplings, fold their own different kinds of dumplings (wontons, shuijiao), and eat their collective creations.
